Spent the whole of today in my classroom, sorting and packing all my gadgets, posters, resources and trinkets (like the "cup of rewards", the "Don Quixote" model, ceramic turtle, nuts and bolts elephant and that that wooden thing that you can make into a spiral.) It was sad when I turned off and unplugged my stereo for the last time, and casting a final eye around the room, remembering where all the pupils had sat.
Still, I didn't have time to get "misty-eyed" as it was straight off to the doctors to get my Hepatitis B 2nd booster and get the prescription for a rabies shot I'm having next week. Also to discuss the anti-malarials I'll be taking (something I'm still not entirely happy about.)
